🗓️ 3-Day Amboseli Safari Itinerary – “Land of Giants & Kilimanjaro Views”

Day 1: Nairobi → Amboseli National Park

Morning:
- Depart Nairobi at 7:00 AM by road (or optional domestic flight to Amboseli airstrip)
- Drive through the scenic Athi plains and Maasai heartland
Afternoon:
- Arrive at your selected lodge or tented camp by 1:00 PM
- Welcome drink, check-in, and lunch
- Brief rest or enjoy the lodge amenities
Evening:
- First game drive in the park — look out for elephants, lions, zebras, and giraffes
- Enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting)
- Return for dinner and a relaxed evening
Overnight:
- Stay at Ol Tukai Lodge, Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, or equivalent

Early Morning:
- Sunrise game drive — best chance to see Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak
- Watch herds of elephants with the mountain in the background
Mid-Morning:
- Return to lodge for breakfast
- Visit a local Maasai village to experience their traditions, crafts, and dances
Afternoon:
- Lunch at the lodge followed by siesta or a birdwatching walk near the swamps
Evening:
- Sunset game drive through swamps and plains
- Possible sightings: hyenas, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and crowned cranes
- Return for dinner under the stars
Overnight:
- Same lodge or tented camp

Morning:
- Optional early morning game drive
- Return for breakfast and checkout
- Depart by 9:30 AM via road or scheduled flight
Afternoon:
- Arrive back in Nairobi by 2:00–3:00 PM
- Optional lunch stop en route or drop-off at JKIA for outbound flights
