Ali Barbour’s Cave Restaurant is hidden behind a modest whitewashed facade along Diana Beach Road. Diners have to descend some 33 feet (≈10 m) via stone‑carved steps into a system of interlinked coral chambers with an open skylight overhead. A Natural skylight in the cave ceiling provides a dramatic view of the sky and stars. It’s estimated to be 120,000–180,000 years old.
The main dining chamber features rugged walls softly illuminated by candlelight and lanterns, creating a cozy, acoustic atmosphere under the stars—or under the protective retractable roof in case of rain.
